Real on this page. Block height, gas price and the client string are read from the Robinhood Chain RPC in your browser. The wallet connects over EIP-1193 and reads balances with eth_call. The countdown, the epoch, the index, the pass strip, the receipts and the calculator are arithmetic on the frozen parameters, so they cannot drift from the numbers the payout service pays on. The layer outlook mirrors the calculator below.

Design intent, until launch. The pre-stake vault, the sHAIL balance and the pre-stake and withdraw buttons. They are shown disabled with the reason written next to them. Every signing path in app.js is gated on the vault address, which is empty until launch, so with it empty the page cannot build a transaction or ask for a signature. Fetch app.js and read it.

Live, project custodied. Pre-staking is a plain transfer of HAIL to the project vault wallet published on this page. Your position is recorded from the chain's own Transfer logs, not from a database. Withdrawals are authorised by a free signature and paid from the vault by the project's payout service, principal plus the rebase earned. There is no contract obliging the vault to pay: you are trusting the project, and this line says so.

Mechanism 02

Cut the stone in half. Six rings, six parts.

A real hailstone is a record of every trip it made through the cloud, one ring per pass. This protocol is built the same way, core to shell. Every part is on chain and boring on purpose; the only new idea is how long you have stayed up.

    Stake

    The core. Deposit $HAIL, receive sHAIL one for one. The position starts compounding at the next close, and the multiplier starts its climb the same moment.

    Layers

    Every staked wallet gains a layer at every pass: 1.00x at the start, 3.00x after 7,200 unbroken passes, which is thirty days. Any unstake, even partial, melts that wallet back to 1.00x.

  3. 03

    Rebase

    Every six minutes a pass closes at the fixed rate and each staked wallet grows by that rate times its own multiplier, paid from the rewards reserve. Nothing to claim, nothing to sign.

    The index

    One sHAIL is always one staked $HAIL times the index. The index carries the growth so a balance never needs migrating, and every receipt prints it.

    Treasury

    Bonds are the only way reserves enter it: sell ETH or USDC, take $HAIL back at a discount over five days. Backing per token is published every epoch and never marketed up.

    The shell. Two stakers beat one staker and one seller. The maths is old; the coordination is the hard part. Hail Rebase pays for it 240 times a day, and pays the ones who stay up the most.

There is no claim button because there is nothing to claim. Rewards are added to what you already hold, 240 times a day, whether or not you are watching. The longer the stone stays up, the more of every close it picks up.

CaveatToken count, not price. Only staked balances grow, so an unstaked holder is diluted at the same rate. The layered figure assumes the pool average stays at 1.00x; if everyone climbs to 3.00x, everyone's share is back to even and the base rate is what is left.

What is Hail Rebase?

A rebase protocol on Robinhood Chain. You stake $HAIL, you receive sHAIL one for one, and the staked balance compounds automatically every six minutes at a fixed rate. The twist is the layer multiplier: like a hailstone that gains a ring every pass through the cloud, your share of each close grows the longer you stay staked, up to three times a fresh stake after thirty days.

Where does the yield come from?

New supply. Every close adds to staked balances at the fixed rate, paid from the rewards reserve. Holders who stake keep their share of supply. Holders who do not stake give theirs up. Holders who stay staked take a growing share of what is minted. That is the entire game.

How does the layer multiplier work?

Each staked wallet carries a multiplier that starts at 1.00x on its first pass and climbs in a straight line to 3.00x after 7,200 consecutive passes, which is thirty days. Each wallet compounds at the base rate times its own multiplier, paid from the rewards reserve. A wallet at 2.00x grows twice as fast as one at 1.00x.

What melts it?

Any unstake from that wallet, even a partial one. The wallet melts back to 1.00x and starts gaining layers again from the next pass. Nobody else is affected. Adding to a stake does not melt it: the layers are counted from your first deposit, or from your last withdrawal.

Do I need to claim or restake?

No. There is no claim transaction and no compounding button. The index updates at every pass and your sHAIL balance moves with it, without a transaction from you.

Is the index on this page real?

Before launch it is arithmetic: the frozen rate compounded over the number of closes since the genesis clock started, which is stated on the page. It is exactly the arithmetic the payout service uses to pay a withdrawal, from the same frozen parameters.

Can this page move my tokens?

Only if you press Pre-stake, review the line it shows you and approve the transfer in your own wallet. Connecting requests account access and reads balances. The one write in app.js is a plain ERC-20 transfer of HAIL to the vault address published on this page, and it is gated on that address, which is empty until launch. A withdrawal is a free signature, not a transaction. Fetch app.js and read it.

Why can I not stake yet?

Because the vault address is not published yet. It is published here and on X before the buttons turn on, and withdrawals open when the payout service is live. The buttons are visible and disabled with the reason next to them, rather than hidden, so you can see exactly what state this is in.

Who holds pre-staked HAIL?

The project. Pre-staking sends HAIL to a project controlled vault wallet, and withdrawals are paid from it by the project's payout service, principal plus the rebase earned. Your position is rebuilt from the chain's own Transfer logs, so anyone can check it, but no contract obliges the vault to pay. A no-owner staking contract is written and compiled as the migration path.

Is this affiliated with OlympusDAO or with Robinhood?

No. Hail Rebase is independent and unaffiliated with either. The rebase mechanic is public and has been implemented many times. This is a new implementation of it, with a layer weighting, on a new chain.
